I'm buying them but more for the exotic class items that boost xp than anything. Especially with how the leveling will work in TTK it'll help me hit 40 as fast as possible.

You're going to be 34 and climbing levels has never been hard in destiny

Its been confirmed that if you are already lvl 34 you will be starting at that level in the taken king. Whatever light level you hit in how is where you will be starting.

Light levels are gone in TTK. Read the memo.

Yes but you start at level 34 if you are level 34 now

Your armor gives you light now. That armor is superseded in TTK. Changing your armor changes your light, and new armor will not have 42 light right out of the box.

You'll most likely start at lvl 20.. check ur character its lvl 20.. ur light is 34

It will help you hit 40 as fast as possible and then once you have completed their meager content on the so called dlc. You will be bored faster than the others
