Anyone Actually Paying $20 For Emotes?
I wanted to know who was buying the $20 emotes. Just curious, not here to argue.
Edit: This post is referring to veteran players not Year 2 Guardians because you guys get a sweet deal.
Edit 2: I only made this post to see who was actually buying it. I wasn't really interested in buying it. Still don't know if I will or if I won't...
Edit 3: Just because you buy the emotes and stuff doesn't make you any better than anyone else don't bash people for not wanting to buy, accept their opinion and stop forcing yourselves on people. You people that spend money on this stuff act like it's a religion.
Edit 4: I'm no longer replying to anyone, some of you are just idiots and don't know how to just have a calm debate but instead want to bash people for their opinion. Most of Destiny's community don't even really know what they want, their just confused.

I pay for emotes in real life. If I wanna laugh so big guy comes up to me, holds out his hand and expects payment. I pay $20 to laugh. $20 to frown. $20 to smile. $20 for all emotes.

I'm buying them. Also, I think the answer in the poll 'I'm going to wait till they're free.' is a little baiting, or at the least presumptuous (I'm not ruling the possibility out though). Anyway, for me, it's like this. I played DCUO and loved it. They have LOTS of cosmetic items for you to purchase in game. And some of them I liked and bought. And I was fortunate enough to have the money to spend on them. The emotes/class items/whatever else it is come to be roughly the price of items for purchase in DCUO, so, nothing new here for me.

3 RepliesHonestly its pretty sad that 38% of the community will just throw their money at the screen like that, for useless shaders, emblems and class items. I mean, sure, it's their money, they can do whatever they want, but couldnt they be paying the bills, or buying food for their family (or themselves, if thats the case)? Bungie actually could just sell ghost shells for $20 a piece and people would pay up. [spoiler]I find it hilarious that people buy things even if they know they are getting ripped off. Maybe I will start my own company some day, make millions...[/spoiler]

Nope, not buying. Not even considering TTK until I actually KNOW what it contains for gameplay. Won't buy "hype". Could care less about the cosmetic items that every 2nd year "shiny" will have AND I refuse to purchase class items just to be competitive with XP progression. Not encouraging the Bungievi$ion "money-grab". I will pass.
