And? Assuming this is a real battle, there'd be no respawns or revives. All super abilities would still need to charge up (think about it, if guardians could just pop off a super constantly the darkness wouldn't be any threat). Any warlocks that died could hold their self res until all of one team had been eliminated. Then they could just pick off the remains of the final class.

You raise an excellent point. I have some questions though. How long could the self-Rez warlocks hold on to their power? They are dead right? Would they eventually lose themselves in death? And how long do you think the battle last? I'm not trying to argue I'm just curious.
