I know exactly and I know it's nowhere near as much as fallout 4 hell, not even 30% of fallout 4 which I preordered for £40. That price is absurd at this point it's matter of principle more than affordability. I'm not going to be the guy that encourages this sort of crap, it honestly makes me want to go back go PC gaming. The console market is just so screwed and extremely extremely poor value.

Perhaps we shall meet in fallout4 multi player... Oh wait.... I love fallout and have two pre orders fpr pipboy editions, but they are completly different game types I could get ESO for less than F4 amd have more content. But they ars not the same tgpe of game so can't compare
-
Sorry mate but there is no justifying it. £40 is the price of a brand new full game. I've never seen a DLC that is £40 ever it's just utterly ridiculous. There's really nothing else to it. Fallout may be a different game but why should you pay equal price for very in equal products, maybe ferrari and skoda should start charging the same they are both cars after all? Bethesda invests 7 years in their product. Bungie invests 12 months at a push.

Edited by Lord Vetinari: 8/9/2015 11:23:55 PMNever seen £40 DLC? WoW, SC2 both have expansions in that price bracket. Becides , im not paying 40, im paying 80. Daddy wants his strange coin
-
WoW releases expansions not DLC's there is quite a big difference. Not only is there more content but it is done to a level of quality that Bungie could only achieve in their dreams at the moment. And you can pay whatever you like lol, pay £300 if it makes you feel like a big man :). I still ain't getting onboard with anymore overpriced destiny updates. Dark below and house of wolves were enough disappointment for me. I'd sooner stick with WoW and SWTOR quite honestly, more content but more importantly far higher quality content.
-
Yes, I've a huge thread with all the info. It doesn't have as much content as a brand new game, so doesn't warrant the £40 price tag.
-
That is not the price of a new game, not to mention the content extends past that list. The changes being made is practically a new game then the content on to. The only way you could have issue with the amount of content is if 40 was a large amount money to you
-
I've not paid more than £42 for any brand new game. TTK won't have no where near the content for £40. Here's an example I bought destiny for £41, TTK won't have the same amount of content as base destiny. FACT.
-
I bought destiny for £150 I collect so my concept pf value is more than just the game. BUT, when laid out amd when you throw in the total restructure of the game. Itbseems very rsasonable to me
-
That depends. If I don't buy TTK and still get the restructured game. The value of that perk = 0
-
Edited by Lord Vetinari: 8/16/2015 4:46:26 PMAnd if you don't buy TTK and still get a restructured game chances are you will moan about the first TTK week's nightfall being a TTK strike.... just like TDB, just like HOW You don't get something for nothing. But if you do not get TTK and get a restructured game... you're welcome, so glad that my reorder is helping fund the game and buy you some free content that you do not deserve with that mind set. (Preordered two, one for me, one for my step son) ((Mine is the Physical LE edition)) You're welcome.
-
I fully exspect nightfall & weekly to flip between TTK and non ttk. Which I think is fair. Just saying you can't use restructuring as part of the value of TTK as you get it even if you don't buy TTK.

Not much

Clearly you do not.
