As a avid shotgun user, and a huge fan of blink, I often use the blink + shotgun tactic to take down foes. When I started using this method, I got extremely disoriented after blinking, and it took me a hot second to gather my senses and find my intended target. After hours of using blink, I began to be able to predict where I would end up, and subsequently where I should be aiming before pulling the trigger. Ironically, this is how one must defend themselves against blink + shotgun as well. The Last Word is the most effective counter to a blink +shotgun, as its high close range damage and rate of fire allows the defending guardian to hit the attacker with enough bullets to kill him before the blink + shotgunner gets within range to kill. But honestly the best defense against a blink shotgunner, is blink. Blink as soon as you see someone running up and blinking towards you, and your attacker will be as disoriented as the first time they tried to blink + shotgun.
