How to counter the Blink + shotgun combo?
I have no problem with shotguns but Blink + shotguns? I will die 99% of the time. What's the best way to counter this move?

I actually find the most annoying thing to me is the bolt grenades.

As a avid shotgun user, and a huge fan of blink, I often use the blink + shotgun tactic to take down foes. When I started using this method, I got extremely disoriented after blinking, and it took me a hot second to gather my senses and find my intended target. After hours of using blink, I began to be able to predict where I would end up, and subsequently where I should be aiming before pulling the trigger. Ironically, this is how one must defend themselves against blink + shotgun as well. The Last Word is the most effective counter to a blink +shotgun, as its high close range damage and rate of fire allows the defending guardian to hit the attacker with enough bullets to kill him before the blink + shotgunner gets within range to kill. But honestly the best defense against a blink shotgunner, is blink. Blink as soon as you see someone running up and blinking towards you, and your attacker will be as disoriented as the first time they tried to blink + shotgun.

If it's a 1v1 in counter ru. At them when they blink twords you. They will end up wondering how you got behind you

If you have blink you can blink backwards or sideways or really anyway to change position. If you don't you could run and slide forwards, turn and nade. Most important thing I think is just not stand there and try to out gun them, I feel like they always kill me if I try to shoot them out of the air.

Walk forward where they were standing not backwards then you'll go under them

1 ReplyFusion grenade. Aim, throw, and move away while waiting for 100 points verbiage to obscure your vision for the next blink+shotgunner. With the right class and armor you should be able to knock out the grenade and postmortem kill bounties fairly easy. Might even raise your k/d in the process. Rinse and repeat until watching Guardians do cart-wheels into the air isn't so fun anymore and play different game.

If you are next to a small rock or raised ground or a gap, go over towards it and watch them struggle.

Die, respawn, then try and hunt the guy down and hit him from range.

Yea i generally try to run under the blinking guy.
