Wouldn't call it cheating, but you should be able to get banned for it.
It's an advantage over others, and it ruins the game they're in.

Go to DestinyTheGame.com and at the bottom is Terms of Use. Click that link and it takes you to https://www.activision.com/legal/terms-of-use which has this handy snippet: [quote]You agree that you will not, under any circumstances: A. use, develop, host or distribute cheats, automation software (bots), modded lobbies, hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software in connection with the Product, or engage in any form of cheating, boosting, or booting;[/quote]
