All my characters and exotics been deleted.

I dunno what to say, my Microsoft account got stolen a week ago but thankfully xbox support helped me to recover it yesterday. But I found out that all my characters been deleted.. 3x34s, all my gear, all my exotic weapons, all the exotic armors and all the best legendary stuff I had. My grimoire is 3390 and I had every exotic weapon in the game. I spent 1900+ playing the game. I have tried to tweet to Bungie and got nothing, I've messaged BNGhelp0 & BNGhelp1 and no replies.         That sucks man :( I don't think they can recover stuff that has been deleted, I think Xbl has a cloud storage in which you can upload stuff to and then you can download again but Idk if this can help, on Playstation you can store files online and then recover them, I'm not very familiar with how it works but maybe playing with those settings can help you out And again, I'm really sorry this happened, I'd be so frustrated as well

      • Im not sure about PSN but on xbox you can check your using the right save file. Maybe your data was saved on a USB stick or the cloud. Hope this helps!

          • You know what the sad part is, you can actually go to his bungie profile and look at his grimoire cards and it does in fact verify that he had all the exotic weapons. How hard is it for bungie to restore what they know he already had? This is the ultimate fail in "customer service". This is just completely inept, a mod moves the post to help then tells him there is no help, someone should tell Anidien that if there is no help available then just leave it alone. Moved to "help" what ridiculous b.s.

            • For all you giving the OP sh1t... I password protect my stuff. I even randomly change the codes. I dont give out personal information, and definately no passwords. Yet, despite all my careful work I was hacked on xbone by a 360 who managed to steal a few hundred bucks. They used the money to buy games, lol, some games I already own. Microsoft service is terrible. Bank got my money, after a few weeks. My point. Give OP a break. Sorry dude, I know the pain!

            • My advise man (and I'm not a troll don't take this the wrong way) you've been given a choice to walk away. You don't have any need to jump back on and there are so many good games out or coming soon with companies who (hopefully) actually care about the playerbase. You're not obligated to continue based on the hours you've poured into the game, you can take. Break, wait till they release the next 2 (?) expansions in some crazy cheap bundle including the taken king and get the new gear which may possibly render all vanilla destiny gear and guns useless anyway. Bungie has made it clear that we are customers, not clients. The difference is clients get service when requested and have a relationship, customers are purely transactional and you need to keep buying to get anything more. Again in not trying to troll you, just offer a different idea/ perspective.

              • Go to account.live click security, check ip logs and geolocation to track the hacker down. And report it to xbl. Soam the beejeebus out of hem and be sure to tell it was Destiny related.
