It's funny how anyone that doesn't hate the game is considered a "Desticle" or "fanboy", and those that hate the game continue to come here to protest and spout their hatred for it like the Westboro Baptist Church.

Edited by BOBAKthePRODIGY: 7/12/2015 4:53:37 PMRight right.....so if people don't blindly love everything about Destiny they are like the Westboro Church. .....seems totally reasonable. What a perfect example of a Desticle. If you dissent at all you are like a hateful religious group that protests the funerals of homosexuals and soldiers. Yep. Totally reasonable analysis....

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 7/12/2015 5:00:57 PMNo, the ones that blindly love the game are equally as annoying. I'm down for constructive criticism, but I have no patience for ignorance and bias. There's a lot of things that are enjoyable about the game, but there's equally as much that is wrong with it and needs to be addressed. There's massive room for improvement in this game, and I'm patient enough to wait for those improvements. At the same time, it's great to see many players address the issues that plague the game.
-
See...this post is reasonable....but comparisons to that hate group aren't helpful or constructive. Just saying. Glad to hear you can be evenhanded with praise and criticism.
-
Yeah, I try to be level-headed/open-minded. I agree that the analogy was kinda bad. More or less, what I trying to say is that there are a lot of players here who completely hate the game, some of which like to announce that they have quit and went to play something else, yet continue to show up here to announce how much they hate the game and its fan base. Seems illogical.
-
I hear ya. I'll be here till Halo 5, Fallout 4 or Star Wars.... ...till then I plan to be a reasonable critic here. Cheers.
-
As an atheist I take offence to your comment

The Westboro Baptist Church is a well known hate-group. They're infamous for protesting funerals and such.

Developers disappoint part of their fanbase every single time they release a game. It just so happens that this time they also said " And we're doing this for a decade. " I like destiny and look forward to the day when they put the sucker in "forge mode" if you will, because that will allow everyone to have their own special little version of it... After all our consoles can record audio and in some cases motion captures now. But I understand how pissed someone would be if they wanted a new bungie game and hated destiny. Gonna be a long wait.
-
Its funny how when anybody criticises bungie for any reason they get attacked by fanboys for hate speech.
-
The problem here is that the OP is exhibiting blind hated for the game. Even insulting those that "defend" the game. Not to mention taking things out of context from the article and twisting them to his own interpretation. Anyone with half a brain can tell, from actually taking the time to read the article, that was not at all the message that Bungie was trying to convey. All they were saying is that they themselves never considered the game perfect or finished; that their job is never done. To them, the game has massive room for improvement, and they will continue to work towards building this game up to its full potential.
-
Well yes. You can tell without reading the article that OP is trolling. But people will say basicly the same thing even against well thought out critiques.
-
Yeah, there are plenty of idiots like that here who will flame anyone who has a negative opinion on the game. I'm down for constructive criticism, but when people make half-assed, ignorant posts like the OP's, well...they kinda deserve to be flamed. If you're gonna voice an opinion, you gotta put some actually thought into it, and have factual evidence to back it up. Can't count how many posts I've seen where someone voiced their opinion and had nothing to back it up with other than "end of discussion" or "anyone who disagrees with me is worthless".
