I will buy it, because I enjoy it, it gives me something to break the monotony of 9-5 life and that alone is worth £40. Sure I'd like it to be cheaper compared to the U.S price, but then again I'd like petrol to be cheaper, I'd like my mortgage to be cheaper, I'd like the right to kick the shit out of someone if they break into my house without fear of being sent to prison for it, but non of the above will happen. It is the way it is. The Americans take a dump, we wipe their arse - it's the price we pay for nicking the country out from under their feet.
