You know, I've never had the chance to play the Halo games. I've never had an Xbox. All my friends played it and YouTubers raved about it. Games made by Bungie was a treasure that no matter how hard I reached, I could not grab onto. I envisioned everyone at Bungie loving their job, loving the games they built, and always having the community at the center. Now all I see is a husk of their former selves. The company I had idolized is now being run by money-hungry, despicable, and frankly evil people that bullied you into making this empty game. Now I'm just sad and angry with Bungie. I don't see, no, I CAN'T see, how Bungie let this happen to themselves. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Such a great company, now reduced to rubble. Bungie should've stood up for themselves. They should've fought Activision. They should've said, "No, we are more than this. The community deserves more than what you want to deliver. We promised truly open worlds. We promised HUNDREDS of unique weapons and armor pieces! And most of all, we promised a storyline. We are Bungie! We created Halo! And we DO NOT deserve to be part of this plan!" That would've been the Bungie I knew. Now I don't know how to sum up sad stories, so I'll just end with this: Bungie, you disappoint me. It's not the fact that you failed, it's the fact that you didn't try. You were my god for video games, and now you're just... Disappointing. That's all I can say.
