Im not sure ice cream is a good comparison, if it was transported from the USA then we would have to expect the additional shipping charges. But I agree with your point. Its bullshit on bungies part, no reason for it

There is no shipping as it's not imported - the digital download is from the European retailer (SCEE) and the physical copies are manufactured in the EU.

No shipping on a digital download. UK also has tax breaks on gaming, DLC etc.
