    Nerf [b]Exotic[/b] hand cannons but not shotguns. Buff auto-rifles and Fusion rifles, everything else is fine.

    • It seems they would have to find a reasonable damage output and performance...If ARs get buffed too much it's back to square one all over again.

    • Hand cannons should have increased recoil and less range. Auto rifles need a buff. Shotguns need a major range nerf or the removal of shot package and range finder Pulse are fine Scout are fine Snipers are fine All heavy ammo should be further reduced in crucible matches. These are my opinions

      • Didn't deej say they wanted auto rifles to be a visceral chainsaw to mow down groups of bad guys? It takes a whole clip to kill one target for christ's sake. Machine guns are my new auto rifles because they get the job done.

        • Thorn needs be adjusted, plain and simple. The Last Word needs that ADS/hip-fire glitch fixed, that's honestly why people insta kill you with it across the map, their aiming and getting 111 for crits. It's fine outside of that. Honestly if they did NOTHING but buff auto rifles I'd be curious to see what would happen. I wanna see the pre-nerfed Suro Regime take on the current Thorn and TLW. I honestly think it could probably challenge them. Then it would be a 3 way grid lock between Exotic hand cannons, pulse rifles and assault rifles, this is a big IF, for all we know buffing the AR might not be enough, exotic hand cannons still might edge them out in terms of lethality. I am curious though. Buffing all weapons is a terrible idea. It's much easier for Bungie to fix/tweak Thorn/TLW than adjust everything else. Honestly you really want everything to be brought up to Thorn/TLW time to kill? You might as well buy CoD then, cause we'd basically be playing a game where everything 2-3 shots you lol.

          • In my opinion, the following changes could be useful: - Buff Auto Rifles in PvE, it was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. Autos has very slow time to kill in PvE nowadays, much slower than other weapon types. Autos other than Suros in PvP didn't really deserve the nerf as much, but they remain useful however. - Rework the Thorn exotic perk. Unlike other exotic perks, Mark of the Devourer not only deals bonus damage, it also comes with a ton of very crippling side effects. Thorn itself without the perk is very well balanced however, so only the perk needs a rework. - Nerf Hand Cannons in general at range. Less damage at range for hand cannons. Being able to snipe enemies across the map and retain most of the damage renders scouts redundant are is also one of the main reasons Hand Cannons are the nearly sole primary weapon type used in PvP

            • I'm all for buffing autos back but I'd hate to see another weapon class nerfed because of certain exotics. No one bitched about the exotic hand cannons before the auto rifle nerf yet here we are saying they are too op. They've been the same since day one with the exclusion of thorns buff 1 month prior to the AR nerf.

                  • Buff autos to a similar ttk as pulse rifles, buff fusion rifles to before the last patch, nerf handcannons with range and stability with RoF. Buff scouts that have a higher RoF because they're basically slower autos with less impact. Shotguns need a tiny range nerf but nothing too big. Snipers are as balanced as they can get. Same with the Heavies

                      It isn't so simple. In some cases you can say a whole weapon class needs rebalancing, like AR's. But other cases need a more specific approach, like exotic hand cannons. Exotic hand cannons have too much range (Hawkmoon too) and Thorn's burn is unfair in that it takes you out of the fight too long and minimizes risk for the user along with the burn still damaging after the user gets killed. Pulse Rifles are ok. Snipers need to lose final round. ALL OF THEM. Fusion rifles and sidearms are obsolete since shotguns are just blatantly better and the maps just favor shotgun use. Scout rifles are not in a good place pvp wise. They're outshot at nearly all ranges by Hand Cannons. Grenades and Horseshoes takes all skill away from Rocket Launchers. Machine Guns are ok. Plus there's a lot of useless perks: mulligan, life support, vacuum... But hey, just my 2 cents.

                    • As long as they don't go overboard, I think they can slow down the TTK a bit by nerfing hand cannons, pulse rifles and shotguns. They are all WAY better than any other option in their class for most situations. The only exception I can think of is the sniper rifle for some maps.
