And yes I'd be saying you shouldn't have ever gotten the good rewards if you can't get into a high bracket, and neither should I because I'm not that good either.
Honestly if you're not very good and you went 9-0 then you were just lucky with bad opponents, and you never deserved to go to the lighthouse in the first place.
Neither do I for that matter, but people worse than me have gotten there by luck while I keep getting matched against pro's every time, which is stupid. This entire system is luck-based more than skill-based, and it shouldn't be that way.

I'm good but what would you base the brackets on, if it is kd then mine is on average 1.4 which isn't that amazing. I've beat plenty of good teams and kd isn't everything. Trials is largely teamwork based. If you manage brackets based on just kd then I would appear in a lower bracket and yet I can hold my own and beat people with higher kds with my teamwork

You manage them on the amount of wins verse losses in trials alone.

I just told you it would be based on wins, use K/D as a starting point and if you win against teams in your bracket you advance, if you lose you are demoted. And you can average the brackets of everyone on the team to find an appropriate match with opponents if you swap between teams of friends, so you would go up with your bracket or down based on winning or losing and your friends would go up or down in theirs as well. And my K/D is about themselves as yours, and I'd say I'm good to, just not THAT good to deserve going to the lighthouse if it's supposed to be for the best of the best.

Best of the best isn't all about kd though. Also this would basically eliminate all less skilled people from doing it and making finding a group extremely difficult. Nobody would want to play in a lower bracket for less rewards and wouldn't want to help friends if it meant they would end up losing and lowering their bracket so it would turn into an extremely elitist game type where nobody wants to play with anyone remotely worse than themselves

Can you even read? I said K/D would only be a starting point for an initial bracket, everything after that would be based on wins, so stop talking about K/D because none of what I've said has anything to do with K/D.

Everything is already based on wins the thing you are wanting is already in place!!! If you don't get as many wins you get the lower loot. Its exactly what you are proposing

If you seriously don't see how different what I suggested is from the way the game is now, you need to go back to school ASAP and study reading comprehension, because you clearly didn't understand anything I just said.

Lets say they do brackets based on wins You start in lower bracket you need 5 wins to move to higher bracket before you get 2 losses. Then higher bracket is 6-0 for lighthouse or just 6-2 for all rewards. Now you can get up to armor rewarded in lower bracket. Then rewarded the higher rewards in higher bracket. If you make it to higher bracket you lose 3 times you go back to lower bracket. Its extremely similar to current set up

Win more games than you lose and you move up, lose more games than you win and you go down. At the end of a few weeks or whatever time frame, the people in the top brackets get rewarded with the best prizes, and the people in the lower brackets get progressively worse prizes.

And unless you go 9-0 on your first try every time it would take a lot longer than that, also why is that a bad thing? If they want to do it properly that means investing time and effort, both for Bungie designing it and for us playing it. You saying you don't have time for a tournament is no good reason not to have a tournament, and a proper tournament is the only way for ToO to be as described and as intended.

Im saying most activities if you complete them only take roughly 2 hrs max. There is so much to already do in the game they dont need to stretch it out even further than it needs to be

You wouldn't have to play all at once, and you not having time to play even a couple hours here or there over a weekend isn't a reason to not have a tournament. Most people going 9-0 play all weekend to do it, so I just don't see the problem.

I dont even play all weekend and usually 9-0 all my characters. IB is already the grinding pvp activity. Dont need another

The truth is you just don't like me telling you that you don't deserve to get to the lighthouse and now you're just poking holes in everything I say as a result, if your only argument against having a tournament is that you think it would take too long (which it wouldn't) then I'm clearly done here. And it doesn't matter that ToO can go faster the way it is since the way it is now is broken as shit, it needs to be a proper tournament or it's just a sham, and you don't have to like it. If you're really so great as you keep saying then you'll fly through the brackets to the top in a few hours and get your rewards, so good for you, and if you can't get to the top that fast then you don't deserve to (I certainly wouldn't stand a chance against the best of the best, so it's not a put down). I've said everything there is to say about this now and you clearly just won't let it be so I'm just muting you to end this, bye bye now.

Thats brackets based on wins with rewards being limited to what you can get in lower brackets. Anyone good wouldnt be in lower bracket making it easier to get armor

Lol, but you're completely missing the point, 9 wins against opponents who suck doesn't mean shit, and people getting 9 losses because they're matched against pro's every time also doesn't mean shit, that's not a competition it's a slaughter.
