All great options. I believe you miss the point however, it is not that thorn is "unbeatable" that people are asking for Nerfs. It is because the gun is so popular that there doesn't seem to be any variety. I would love to be killed by more scout rifles, or even pulse rifles. But chances are of anything kills me it will be an exotic. Which is piss poor weapon design.
