The title should be 5 weapons that could beat Thorn in a firefight. All of the weapons listed are good for PvP, but they don't outclass Thorn.

Been at the top of the leaderboards more often than not with the red death in this iron banner. Against a shit ton of thorns. I'd have to disagree with this statement.

That just shows that you can perform with Red Death, better than the probably less skilled players you were competing against. A good player will be able to compete with any top tier exotic, but Thorn is probably the best of the bunch, allowing the player a slightly easier time.
