Well your list pretty much sucks and it's full of inaccuracies. Obviously haven't played with any of the scouts you mentioned.
It's not that thorn can't be beaten in a 1v1. It's when you fight 3v1 and kill all three guys then that last guy happens to hit you in the foot with thorn. The poison gives him a shit kill since the gun consistently gives you more dmg than a crit shot from other weapons.

Yeah I made a mistake about MIDA.The problem is people complaining about thorn being the only good gun.And I am experienced with the scouts.I maxed MIDA and VoC just off of crucible.

Cause thorn is junk and needs to come in line with everything else in the game. The poison perk is broke. There is a reason >80% people are using thorn in trials

Maybe not in ttk,but in their own respective scenario they will outclass it.The reason why everyone loves red death is because it makes everyone flinch like crazy.Try taking a burst from red death and see where your crosshair goes

1.Have you ever tried a crucible tactic called strafing?Its what gives guns an advantage over others.Red Death is a better strafing weapon over thorn.With thorn it's really difficult to use it while moving.The other guns I listed have no problem with it. 2.When I was talking about scenarios,I was talking about maps.As in try using thorn with no secondary or heavy on a CQ map.It won't go well.Use it on rusted lands with no secondary or heavy and it will do great.Its all about the environmental factors

1) who doesn't know what strafing is?? Thorn is not difficult to use while moving, and it's easier to peripherally see because ADS does not obscure your view 2) thorn has no disadvantage in close quarters maps (where it's generally easier to land head shots and abuse it's ridiculous ttk)....was that a joke? Lol look how you have to come up with specific instances to discredit this gun (with no special ammo)... where most DECENT players no how to use and pick up special ammo efficiently anyway, and in smaller maps special ammo is easier to come by because it's less spread out... 3) I think you're just trying to piggy back on what a few others have said and you really are just talking out of your ass [spoiler]why do you think thorn is used so much in pro-level competition???[/spoiler]

Sorry about the special ammo thing.I meant only using thorn for a whole match.And I was talking about strafing with other weapons like MIDA,not thorn.I admire you though for providing actual facts and evidence unlike others on this post.G'day m8
