As someone who has used these weapons in Iron Banner/Trials/Crucible, they do wreck lol. MIDA does help with strafing, positioning/repositioning to outplay the thorn. Same tactics for the VoC(but with slower move speed). Just have to toy with the guns strengths and figure out your opponents weaknesses and exploit them with those guns

You're going to lose all these people by talking about strafing/positioning/repositioning. I swear that I'm the only Guardian who will run away and reposition to my advantage.

Everyone is saying VoC sucks.Either they haven't used it,or they barely used it.Its a beast

I admit I'll use thorn and TLW on certain maps, but I'm starting to use my VOC a lot more in pvp. Especially since it's the only gun I have ascended so far. Just picked up Mida from Xur, I just fell in love with using thunderlord as my exotic tho.

You're gonna love MIDA man, trust me lol. And thunderlord is a great exotic as well, congrats on getting those guns ! Just don't be afraid to branch out from Thorn you know ? It's a great gun (no matter how much hate it gets) but personally I have more fun and get better scores with other guns lol

Yeah I just got thorn like 2 weeks ago so I'm still getting used to it in pvp. It's fun for pve as well.
