So, I have this fascination with Dead Orbit for the simple fact is that it appears to be scholars and people who hold this fanaticism with going deeper into space.
It just ignites the inner philosopher in me because when I read the descriptions of their items, I can only imagine a clandestine calling from it in the views of my Guardian as well as the search for riches and alien things.
To me, it just brings up deep thinking and thinking about what each description says.

"Listen, some stars won't stop calling us. - Arach Linde"
"At least we'll know we tried. - Arach Henri"
"Success is not about survival. It's about discovery. - Arach Modesta"
"When all is shadow, know your journey has begun. - Arach Parnell"
"Beyond the City. Yes, beyond the Traveler. - Arach Jalaal"

To me, they tell the story of what makes up the Dead Orbit faction;
Their want to leave earth again, go forth into the void in search of new planets, technology and life. And when they reach their failures and set backs, they'll know they have tried. For though they will lose members of the faction, they will continue on to reach success, and they will know that when their failures arise and show themselves, they've begun their road to success. But first, they need to leave the city and the protection of the traveler to begin their journey.
And that's why I love Dead Orbit.
What faction do you like? Do you see a meaning greater than just the surface of the faction? Or is it simply a warring faction within the City to you?
