Why look at it as a "replacement". Bungie said a raid will be released later this year. So it's more like an alternative to a raid, or a additional even. No one ever said the dates for a raid release MUST coincide with the release date of a dlc.

I see it as a replacement because I'm going to have to pay for the raid too. If I got PoE now and a free raid later, I'd be more accepting of PoE.
-
Ah. I can see that point of view.

Yes later this year which means it will be part of the next dlc that is suppose to be released sometime in the fall.

Edited by Sanctus Michael: 5/20/2015 2:09:48 PMStrange. When deej mentioned it on the first reveal, he never said that the raid was in connection to a dlc... then again, a raid by itself could technically need to be downloaded, thus making it a dlc in and of itself. Oh well, who knows? Doesn't really matter to me, on a personal note, I don't like the raids

But deej is vague notmally. They don't normally talk about future dlc when they are near release of a dlc. I know the fallen king dlc is suppose to come out this fall so I am assuming that dlc is suppose to have a new raid. They probably wanted more time for the raid so they are releasing that with the next dlc. Of course, this is speculation but he has not said it was going to be free or much more then it is coming later this year.

They aren't releasing anymore DLCs within year 1 (ends in September) so if they release the raid before September it will probably be free.

And yet u need the HoW dlc to play it. It will release in the summer. No dates have been confirmed for the next expansion, which will probably be a good 6 months from now I reckon. Plus bungie confirmed they are currently working on new raids, plural.
