So do you guys feel that PoE is a good raid replacement?
So far I did one run through of the lvl 28 PoE. I had fun but still can't decide if this is more replayable then a raid even though it changes but the concept is pretty much the same everytime.
Edit: Glad to see so many replies! By most of the responses people are happy with PoE which is great!
[b][u]update[/u][/b]: I did PoE lvl 32 and 34. Got to admit 34 was a huge challenge since we were all lvl 33 but very satisfying none the less. It is a hell of a lot more intense then any raid I had played before. I have to admit I feel a lot better about it. I just hope they add to PoE every expansion. Its way to great for them not to.
[b][u]update:[/u][/b] After giving it more time I still enjoy it but I see 2 major flaws. First flaw being, to get loot it requires you to farm for keys which turns into a good amount of time either in patrol waiting for enemies to eventually spawn in hopes of finding a chest that grants you a key or doing lvl 28 PoE over and over again. Flaw two being, too many players are still having ghorn as a requirement for other players to join their fireteam so they can avoid all the mechanics of fighting the final boss. I have a ghorn but you start to feel bad for those who have been unlucky to have it drop for them.

No This weeks 34 boss was shit Shouldn't need 3 34s or 3 Ghallys or an entire Night to run one round Was so much more enjoyable raiding Players who do not want to play PVP are getting the shaft with EL as well Haven't seen a queens weapon as good as previous raid weapons also

I'm glad there giving us bosses that actually have difficulty compared to all the other stuff that everyone could breeze through. I like a tough challenge. It's funny when you come on here to see people complaining it's to hard etc. Some of the people I always play with who were great players in the raid are now shitting the bed when it comes to PoE . It's a new style of mode and comes with some good challenges hopefully the next raid will be just as challenging. The whole 3 man fireteam is no longer allowing the 5 strong players to carry to the 1 weak player. Only the strong will survive the 35 PoE.

PoE is kind of fun and interesting. Unfortunately, nothing will top VoG. The next endgame event will just have more yellow bar enemies that are above the level cap.

I'd say no personally because the lack of checkpoints is frustrating on higher levels when you're learning the mechanics. I also like that raids are 6 man

I've had more fun with this than either of the two raids. With that being said, I'd like to see two major changes. •Bigger arenas to support bigger fireteams. •A better way to farm for keys.

7 RepliesEhhhhh... I've enjoyed PoE so far, but I'm really not crazy about the 3 man fireteams. It's splitting up the group I normally raid with. I'd be happier, for a a variety of reasons, if it was 6 person groups instead.

Bored of PoE already, Already got two Elder Ciphers that I unfortunately now have to complete to get the exotic guns. Once ive got the third I may not bother with it again as it gets boring really fast.

I'm totally digging PoE right now. It's a great challenge. As fun as Raids are, once you figure out the mechanics it becomes another weekly grind. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to beat the boss (especially this weeks 34). I do agree however that some of the mechanics (like diffusing mines) are a little repetitive.

On the level 34 PoE this week myself and 2 of my buddies dealt with 3 waves of Vex and critical targets with the small arms modifier active. We ran around spraying Last Word in a display so glorious words cannot do it justice. I'm still not sure how we pulled off our shenanigans and on our first attempt no less. Nowhere in any raid have I ever had as much fun and challenge save maybe my first run on the VoG when it first dropped but that was long ago. TL;DR raids are boring and never changing. PoE is challenging and exciting

I'd say it's better. Vog is still one of the best activities in the game but crota is borderline terrible. I'm glad we have something new. Firefight > raids.
