Tough question. I think impact would be a good reason. Atheons Epilogue and Abyss Defiant don't come close to Vanquisher VII or Shadow Price. The non-elemental primaries have to be something special like one of these or even a Super Pox to be worth it. The best pulse rifle in the game will rise again at 365 very soon. At least mine will.
