That's just a legal disclaimer so they don't get but-blam!-ed in the event they decide to pull things. Pulling things under that clause is a basic admission of them saying we promised to give you something but are not anymore because we are -blam!-.
-
It's really nothing to do with whether they were acting legally or not. Although this is false advertising unless it has terms and conditions on the email.
-
Where in this email does it say that I just read the fine print at the bottom btw doesn't say that
-
It says it in the contract you agreed to when you first played the game.
-
First played not bought? So I could buy it with both expansions without agreeing to said contract?
-
no because you need xbl or psn to get the expansion and it does say it there. If you buy it in GameStop then, again, it says it on the back or refers you to a link
-
Edited by Lord Headass: 4/25/2015 7:17:25 PMYou could buy it with both expansions... But you would still have to agree before you can play it. Bungie could still change it if they want.
-
Everyone talking about that fine print stuff is being nitpicky. Honestly a game couldn't go and promise 20 story missions and deliver 2 and say "read the fine print everything's subject to change" that's not how that works. It's still shady business practice since 99 percent expected a raid and they knew that and didn't tell us sooner before we all bought it
-
Edited by Lord Headass: 4/25/2015 7:28:50 PMYes, Expected a raid. When we bought the DLC before we knew all the details, we were all taking a risk.
-
Edited by Lord Headass: 4/25/2015 7:14:38 PMWhen you first logged in, you agreed to the terms of use... And you've obviously played the game, so yes, you have agreed.
-
not necessarily the end all be all
-
So if you went to a car dealership, and they made you sign an EULA, and then you bought a Porche, but they gave you a Pinto instead, you would be ok with that? Why are you so eager to defend this bait and switch tactic? Do you just love getting lied to and ripped off?
-
The car companies dont say that the cars are subject to change. This is a game if you dont like what you're getting then leave.
-
Except he alredy paid for it, so he can't just leave. duh.
-
But does Bungie really need to rely on such a cheap trick? I bought the season pass when I thought each expansion contained a new raid as they advertised. Ik they can change content, but it feels like they will keep doing this in the future.
-
So to all of those who are complaining about no raid think: they said another is coming, they gave us a new game mode, and the old raids now have a new meaning: we can upgrade the weapons and armor to new levels. I for one am happy with bungie's decision. I would do raids if i could but i dont have a mic and i dont have enough friends to do it with. PoE is appealing to the player like me
-
Of course you're happy with it. Why wouldn't you be? Starve the player base long enough, and the id10ts will be happy with ANYTHING they're given lol. My gosh my mute list is growing lolol
-
Another raid is coming alright, but they will charge another 10-25 dollars for it. Plus it will mostly likely be months away. That's why they said "later this year" instead of "soon". I can't say anything about the new game type coming. No one knows anything about it. I can't say it's bad just like no one can say it is good. I'm not getting my hopes up tho. As for keeping the raids relevant, good job Bungie for keeping the lower lvl or new ppl interested in them. I have been running those two raids for a while. I have all the weapons and the pieces of armor that matter. I never blew them up cuz I'm a collector.
-
You're entire argument is speculation. Go away.
-
First off, anyone can mute/ignore me. I guess your inner fanboy wouldn't let you tho. Second, I wouldn't say it's 100% speculation. We all Know that Bungie picks their words very carefully. They would have put "soon" if they meant it. Just like how "HoW will not have an raid activity." Oh and guess what? The season pass only covers up to HoW. It's like they have a fking lawyer telling them exactly what to say for each flipping post lol. They got their @ss covered well.
-
So shut up then.
-
Mute/ignore me bruh.
-
Look at the picture. Where does it say that?
-
On the website before you buy, on the game slip thing. Everywhere that lets you buy. It says it on the link
