Ok, I think I just pwned myself with this whole "Bungie Never Said"
The attached image is from an email sent directly to me from Bungie, advertising the expansion pass.
It says that "Each expansion contains ... a new Raid".
So to all the people who I told "Bungie never promised" - I apologize.
To anyone demanding a refund or whatever - I'm still muting you because you're being silly. A Raid is not the only content and not the sole value to the DLC. I think we're getting a lot of things that we asked for with HoW, and I certainly wouldn't trade it all for a new Raid.

edit: Just wanted to clarify I'm not bashing Bungie, just saying I was too quick to discount those who believed they were owed a Raid.

But, what if the two raids were the selling point to someone? What if the whole reason they bought the game was because they absolutely LOVE raiding and having 2 extra raids justifies their DLC expansion pack purchase? Are you honestly going to tell me that this is not OK? That it's unacceptable, because he places more value in what was advertised than you do?

I agree with what people are saying as we got poe instead witch can be added to in the future but raids are what makes destiny so good imo Vog is still the best part of destiny . Also if they don't want to include a fallen raid don't include a raid set of weapons fallen based with crap fallen perks . Poe weapons should have poe perks not fallen !!!! My biggest problem with how is there is no gun worth geting from Pve . Ever raid gun is better !!! The fallen perk should be a extra perk and poe / too should've been the only weapons that could have the old perks !!! Then that makes them better !!! You can get a ok ledge rocket from a blue engram roll it to have tripod javelin g & h witch is the best roll !!! Do Poe and buy one that has shank or dreg burn :/ and that's the harder one to get !! Reforging was a bad idea all you do is have people get the best gun reforge it over and over what happened to when you got a good gun with a awesome roll and used it because of the roll . Someone says they have firefly on there scout you were like nice one now it's like Yh I got that roll on every scout I own :/

they probably said that before knowing poe was the plan, which they have a right to. I'm kind of bummed that there wasn't a raid either, but nonetheless, they did release end game pve content, which in my opinion is more fun/challenging than Crotas end. and I haven't even done the higher level prison modes yet. yeah the rewards kind of blow (which imo is the biggest letdown, far bigger than having no "raid") but it was something completely new. people like to bash the lack of a traditional raid but honestly speaking for myself, I would have lost a lot of faith in destiny if HoW was basically another carbon copy of TDB, and I'm sure there are some that agree with me. I'm assuming (and hoping) they took an interim from traditional raids to create a much better one that can rival VoG in size, challenge and fun. I'm not dick riding bungie here by any means I'm just explaining why it's silly why people were all pissed over not having a raid

You're not aware of everything you will get in it when you're buying it for DLC to be released in 4/8 months time. As Bungie wrote, it wasn't an easy decision to ship HoW without a raid. I believe them there. Many people are upset about it. PoE is not a raid and isn't something that will fill the void of a lack of a raid. The gaming community as a whole needs to stop buying products before we've even seen them. Things change and there's nothing you can do about it. If it's that bad that you want your money back, the likelihood of that happening is low.

They don't care about being taken advantage of, or deceived; they just want any virtual gratification they can scrounge up because they've failed to achieve anything IRL. I'm fine with there not being a raid, and I'm even cautiously excited for HoW, but I'm not fine with dishonesty and deception. The gaming industries offerings and practices will drastically improve when the majority of its patrons gain a little confidence and dignity, and turn from the shit that these publishers keep pushing out.

I paid that for all the new content, all of it, strikes, crucible, maps, story, now it turns out the arena (whatever that is *interested look*). So you guys go off and play the ONE thing over and over, I'll just enjoy all aspects of this fine game
