No more than most hunter cloaks or titan marks.
However there are some datamining sources that confirm exotic varieties that do the same as NM, FWC and DO varieties (give rep to each faction)

That's so boring... If they do nothing, it's a huge missed opportunity for a game that has nothing surprising in it. There is no mystery in this game... Sad.

Remember, the interesting/mysterious part of this game is that we're characters with NO ties to the world itself yet. Perhaps we'll find more out as we go deeper.

This is mystery: You open up a chest and you see something pop up, you have no idea what it is. You equip it and it does nothing that you can determine... All of a sudden as you a running towards the hell mouth, your head is on fire and lighting bolts start shooting out of your fingers... You have no gun but you shoot anyway and you insta-kill everything in your area with huge bolts of lightning from the sky. Then out of no where, it stops and you are normal again... You try to activate it again but it doesn't work cause you don't know how it happened in the first place and you are not sure what this thing you found is. SO you investigate and hope you will learn more based on something else you find. THAT is a mystery and what's needed. What we have now is... Just do and maybe we will tell you later....maybe.
