Haha which question did you answered? I knew that special and heavy only drop on normal. It was more about the multiple chances for exotic drops. Thats why many people still do normal and hard because they want two chances. Thats what ive been told here in this thread.

You only get 1 exotic roll per character per week at deathsinger and Crota. Normal vs hard makes no difference.

Same also applies to the gorgon chest in VOG you can get exotic on normal and then on hard on that chest. This has happened numerous times for both me and me clanmates so I thought it was general knowledge.
