Pffft.
Yeah, right. I'm juggling both games now, and all the heartbreak of losing my souls is forgotten when I play a strike/crucible match.
*edit* I'm seeing a lot of "Oh, some guy beat BB in 44mins so its a scrubby game lol"
So I just wanna say 2 things.
1.
Its cool if you wanna speed run games, it is still considered a challenge, and you might find enjoyment from that.
But spending $60 plus on a game and playing about $10 worth of it and then stop playing seems rather unfulfilling to me.
2.
To all those bragging about how easy BB is, here is my slow clap *clap....clap....clap*.
Because seriously, whatever, I'm not impressed. I think they've fixed the bugs shown in the video already, so good luck finishing it within an hour.

No. A majority of the Destiny community are kids who only like FPS games. The only thing that will wean them off of Destiny would be the introduction of a new, aggressively marketed FPS.
-
Destiny itself killed it for me. After beating crota HM for most of the new raid weapons, the only thing I wanted to get was a helmet for my hunter. After running with only my hunter on the raid because I didn't need anything else it seemed pointless to rerun it unless my raid team needed to do it again. I stopped doing dailies forever ago because I don't need the materials. I might do I nightfall to lvl a new piece of gear but I don't need any more exotics. I've been played dying light, finished Shadow of mordor, and played a little D3 again. Sure I jumped back on destiny to help out clan members and what not but I didn't have a reason other then that to play. Bloodborne is just the newest game that I'm playing instead. When HoW comes out I'll gladly dive into the new raid with my team, but till then destiny doesn't have anything I want.

Edited by Hogger: 4/2/2015 3:42:03 PMDestiny had killed itself but it has a decent app for the forum gaming section which has a Bloodborne thread I use.

Is destiny not dead yet? haven't they lost just about or LESS than 50% of their player base?
-
Bungie is too scared to announced official numbers of current Destiny players so we will never know but if you go by twitch, you know Bloodborne is shitting all over Destiny. Destiny has 2 streamers that get 3k people all the time, you remove these two and that game would be dead even on twitch lmao. In other words Bloodborne is an AAA and probably goty of 2015. Destiny is a shitty 6/10 and most disappointing title of 2014. Judge by yourself if a game is even needed to kill a worthless POS known as Destiny

He beat it in 45 minutes by doing glitches, that doesn't mean the game is easy. If you say the game is easy then I'm sure you haven't played it. It's a lot more difficult than most games.
-
When I get Metro Redux I'll be playing Destiny a lot less.

Edited by Emceh: 4/2/2015 5:30:15 PMLol I have 48 hours in game... Guess what boss I'm stuck with? Father G. I'm really enjoying the game and at this pace it will keep me entertained until house of wolves.

Destiny is going to survive the drought of content because its a MMO and most gamers crave attention that they aren't getting enough of in real life.
-
I find it very funny that half of the people that say destiny is so easy is just cause they cheat. I cannot weigh in on bloodborne yet, although I really want the game, most likely getting my Ps4 today.
-
It's a niche market so in other words no

Not for Xbox...
-
For Playstation players. Maybe

Many have tried. None have succeeded.

Never likes the souls games.. That said bloodborne is pretty Damon good so far.. Wish it had s real co op so you and a friend could play the story together.. It won't kill destiny. To me it doesn't have much reply value... Once I beat it I'll probably not play it again... Destiny does appear to be dying.. Normal I would have 15-20 friends always online playing destiny now it's like 2-3... I have nothing left to do in destiny. Not a fan of any pvp anymore.. Needs MORE pve content...

Bloodborne ate a week and a half of my life... But I went back on Destiny last night and did all my nightfalls, raids and did my dailies. I enjoyed playing Destiny again, but I went back for a little more punishment in chalice dungeons until I started running into things (at depth 5) that made the regular game look easy. After finally playing a souls game, I can see the balancing, design and plot similarities in Destiny (despite the obvious differences, difficulty and that its a FPS). So, it did kill Destiny for me... For about 11 days. Then Destiny was summoned back to life like a
bloody fiend in Yar'ghul
. I should probably go play some WoW again... I'm still paying for that every month and haven't touched it since the Christmas PSN outage. I'm looking forward to Witcher 3 "killing" Destiny for a few hundred game hours. When Fallout 4 comes out, I'm switching off the Wifi and disappearing for a month or three.

Bloodborne made me forget about Destiny. Destiny is dead until How comes out, and even then it will only be a Tuesday game. Bungie doesn't care about PVE players, there is no content left in this game...
-
No console exclusive will kill Destiny.

I wanted to buy bloodborn for a second game to play. After looking at YouTube game play the game looks dumb to me. Especially PVP. Just a bunch of people playing defensively and self healing nonstop. Graphics look amazing but the style of playing is not my cup of tea.

devil may cry 4 for the win !

Destiny's lack of content will kill Destiny. I put in over 1000 hours in the game, I have every exotic I can get on Xbox, I have all raid guns, and I heavily over prepared for HoW. I fear that I will have nothing to do after the first two weeks of HoW.

Nah, I beat it in 40 minutes.
