When destiny was released they promised loads of customization. When one reaches level 20 this is not the case. You are forced to wear armor that increases your light level. Sometimes that armor doesn't exactly look as awesome as it could, or it doesn't fit with the rest of your current armor. I think vanity item slots would benefit everyone. You could equip your favorite armor without having to lose your light levels for the sake of fashion or, or the intimidation factor. Take for instance the Don't Touch Me armor for the hunter. While you may like the abilities in them, their excessive amount of blue (with or without a shader) might not look good if your going for a camouflage look. I believe vanity slots would benefit all guardians if indeed they were added. If you read the whole thing thank you for your time, and if you are going to comment be honest I can handle the truth and/or others opinions :D!

They know about vanity slots. Whether or not they will add them is another matter altogether

Vanity would be good. I never felt unique in this game

Have you ever noticed the white outlines around class items? A piece will turn yellow when it's upgraded completely, and white indicates that there's still a few perks to max out on a said item. Why do these items have a white outline when no XP can be applied to them because they have no perk tree? My theory is that these items originally had some benefit to the player other than aesthetics.

I'd have to disagree and not because I'm an asshole and think it's stupid :) But because currently when I see someone with raid gear on I know holy crap they have all raid gear and must of done VoG/CE a bunch to get there. Or.. If they have a specific exotic on(like don't touch me) I can look at that and get a glimpse into their play style Or... If they have all iron banner gear I know they run a ton of PVP and are pretty good at it If players allowed to change their look I wouldn't see these amazing players and know how awesome they are because although they might have all raid gear equipped they decided to make it look like a bunch of green items cuz they thought it looked cool I hope that makes sense...

Ikr Manifold is my favorite warlock Armour but it's a scrubby rare dafuq?

I really like the idea if this except for one minor thing. I personally don't think it should work with exotics, as those are supposed to be special.

Bump would like to see this in the game

Yes please. I've seen what the HoW Warlock helms look like and I would love for that to be able to get me to whatever the max level is while still retaining what I believe to be a badass look. I need the helmet that resembles a Knight's helmet with a horn... Not a 4 eyed version of a helmet we already have...

This isn't WoW. Go play WoW. It's more fun than this.

Bungie doesn't now how to customization
-

An unprecedented amount of customization. Be the guardian you want be, as long as its like that other guardian, and that other one, and him right there, oh and her as well. Become legend, the same legend as all those other legends with very little differences. That's how you become a true guardian.

Yaaaaaas.

I agree bring vanity items
-
Careful. Imagine the memory load if the menu had to draw two whole sets of items.
-
Bump. Every other MMO already has this. Can't be that hard.

YES, make it like the vanity in Terraria. Simply but extremely versatile.

I wasn't anticipating this many replies. Thanks so much guys. This is my first post that I've created, so I wasn't expecting much attention on the first go. Thanks again!
