What a shame dude, level 32 boots, arms and chest have been sold now meaning you can get to 32 without dlc

Post is a month old. Chest dropped in January IB without enough light to get you to 32. Nothing Bungie said would have indicated that it was going to change. so the post is accurate for when it was posted...
