Both take advantage of their information they know you don't have and abuse it.
The KKK had all these secret cult ritual shi* that scared the public. The moment a guy revealed it all, the KKK were being made fun of as grown men in blankets. Real estate agents take the fact that you don't know crap about selling the house and push you to selling the house less than the highest value you can actually get. Agents houses stay on the market for a average of 10 days longer and sell for 2% more. Agents don't make a lot of money off you for those 10 days of extra work so they push you to sell. You don't know crap so you agree right a long. They know info you don't so you trust them. I wish I could explain it better but it takes a entire book about a couple of these being compared to explain them.
tl:dr
The book is about thinking outside the box and having a new perspective on things. Compare the unlikely and you just might find something.
