Well if someone gets ahold of a weapon with the intent of causing physical harm and won't let go even after being tased and the sorts, I believe it's justified for the safety of the police and bystanders.
-
I guess they're trained to kill and not disarm/aim (corruption I suppose)

Edited by NO_IM_DANIEL: 3/3/2015 7:49:40 PMPolice don't shoot to kill they shoot to stop the threat. When someone takes an officers gun you are no going to try and take that gun away, that's a suicide mission, you are going to shoot that person to stop the threat.

Absolutely correct, no one is going to wrestle with an armed suspect. It will almost always end with a shot being discharged which will hit either a cop or a bystander. The police did what they felt was the safest and quickest way to disarm to suspect which unfortunately ended a life but provided complete safety for the others. Im on the polices side on this one.

Finally someone with common sense!

I know right! Some people are just completely clueless on how these things work!

Yep, the criticize the police when they know absolutely nothing of what happened, then they spread false reports of what happened. People need to get the facts before they comment.
