It does what a hand cannon is supposed to do for the most part. It also does void damage which is a big deal for primaries (thought that was obvious).
It's too bad it's not FB 2.0. But honestly they made that gun a little too good. I'm tired of today's gamers requiring a weapon to be OP, near OP, or best in class to think an item is "viable."

Missing the point. There are a lot of very good weapons other than whatever is the flavor of the month. As well as the one that they need to make more balanced weapons and not ones that are glaringly better than others.
