Word of Crota: the worst raid weapon in the game
This gun really really needs a buff
-ammo reserve is HORRIBLE
-impact is bad
-unique perk is useless because you only end up with 16 bullets if you can manage all headshots, also the low impact high fire rate is weird to have when this is supposed to be a precision perk
-sights are obstructive and difficult to use compared to other hand cannon sights
I seriously can not think of a raid weapon worse than word of crota from VoG or CE. There's no reason you cant buff a legendary, please do it

Personally really like Word of Crota even if some of the perks are broken at the moment. Also the sights are exactly the same as Thorn.

9 RepliesReally? The worst? Out of the four CE raid primaries, it's one of two without Hive specific perks. This makes it more versatile than both Abyss Defiant and Oversoul's Edict. Its perks actually complement each other, rather than negate each other. I like Fang of Ir Yut, but Field Scout, which you need because the base mag size is low, negates the usefulness of Spray and Pray, Target Mark is a gimmick, and Third Eye is just kind of meh. It has the option of both range enhancing perk or explosive rounds, which means you can tailor it to your engagements. Zen Moment is a great help on a high ROF hand cannon. WoC also has the same impact/ROF of Thorn or TLW. Void hand cannon > void bullet hose AR. If your premise is that over all, the CE raid primaries are worse than their VoG counterparts, I'd agree with you.

I'm loving this hand cannon and it's only half levelled so far. I did just get the Fatebringer though so maybe things will change.

6 RepliesHonestly ALL the raid weapons are pretty bad. It's almost like Bungie freaked out at how awesome VoC and Fatebringer were and decided that we couldn't have such awesome guns anymore. God forbid a FPS actually have great guns that people love. :/
