Why, nay?
-
People would use the same names/inappropriate names and you might be used to there regular GT so it could get confusing
-
Edited by RawWilson1: 2/12/2015 4:17:02 AMI suggest Bungie would have to implement a filter system to keep inappropriate names from being screen. Also, we the player, should be able to report names that are inappropriate if they manage to get pass the filter. What would be confusing?
-
Same names like everyone wanting to be called ninja or shadow or something juvenile
-
Tell me... How many octopus planet are on Bungie.net?
-
One and only ;) but I have met a couple of other octopuses on destiny in the past few weeks both in crucible one was mr octopus and the other obese octopus I found them comical and messaged them with there wise choice of name selection
-
But none of them had your exact name, correct?
-
Not that I know
-
Edited by RawWilson1: 2/12/2015 5:13:29 AMNo one can have the exact name as an existing account. The same thing would go for players naming their guardians in Destiny. They're systems in place that keeps names from being used multiple times in almost everything that's account based.
-
Ya that goes without saying lol

Edited by RawWilson1: 2/12/2015 12:35:58 PMSo, do you still believe it'll be confusing if we was able to name our guardians?
People would use the same names/inappropriate names and you might be used to there regular GT so it could get confusing
Your quote, not mines...
-
Yes actually because like I said people would use the same names and when you make callouts to a person they will both be taking that callout when it's meant for one person and GTs are unique so that will never happen (sorry for the late reply I fell asleep)
