Let Us Name Our Guardians

Bungie has the power to allow us to name our guardians. Many games, like Final Fantasy 14, allows us to name our characters and only let other players see that created name instead of our gamer tags or PSN names.
I know a lot of gamers who would love covering up their gamer tag or PSN name. Many of those names are truly offensive and I wish Bungie would implement the ability for us to name our characters in Destiny and let those honest men and women who have horrible PSN names or Gamer Tags to be able to cover it.

3 RepliesNo, I like my gamertag as do all of my friends, what would be the point to having a 3rd name, just confusing the people you play with? Would you name each of your guardians different??

13 RepliesI would love this, but I'm not sure it would play out too well, especially for those of us with multiple characters. How on earth would my friends recognize that hunter Sergeant Steakfries is the same person as titan Valus Ta'Pasta? I don't exactly love my gamertag either but it does make a certain amount of sense to have it remain the same across all characters.

4 RepliesI think this might work. The only thing I will say the good ones with nice gamer tags and psn names should be able to but with the bad. Names they will have to be cable to behave when they can name them.

If I had to name my Guardian I would name him Willy. Cuz you know, I got the biggest... Although... Rome was not built in a day. I think we should take a step back at what we have accomplished here. We have released the most groundbreaking game ever in terms of gameplay and player cooperation on Next-Gen Consoles. Also. I think Bungie has learned a harsh lesson from Destiny's reviews. We learned not to let them publish the reviews so goddamn early. Next time we will make it a "rule" not to do that review thing early. That lost us our bonus money from Activision. We lost like 2.5 million in employee bonuses because of that stuff. :) But to be honest with you, we still made a killing and we are laughing all the way to the bank. We are so rich in fact, that we took extra time off for Christmas just so we can booze, and -blam!- as many expensive escorts as we could. We are talking Hollywood style, high paid girls with real pretty faces, at least $2000/hour. I am so -blam!-ing rich bro. You think I give a -blam!-? We are swimming in your money like Scrooge McDuck! Also I would like to add: Thank you for all your hard earned praise of Destiny. It has been a big year for Bungie. We finally spread our wings and removed the collar Microsoft has put on us, I really feel good about that. Free. What a feeling! And then Activision clamped a collar on us so tight we can hardly breathe. But Hey. It is what it is. "You breathe when I tell you to breathe." Ok Bobby Kotick, no worries, just don't fire me.
