My Xbox one bricked 2 months after I bought it. My ps4 has given me over 650 hours of play time and soooo much more Netflix time. My Xbox was used for about 40 hours and now it's dead

That sounds terrible man. I'm sorry for you. However, my buddy works at a repair shop and has been there for over 6 months and they have only received 2 xbox ones and both were because the disk drive got stuck. He has seen quite a few PS4s roll through there for numerous reasons. It's actually the reason why he bought an Xbox One.

Thanks, and I don't doubt that Sony has bad units too, I'm just trying to give the OP perspective. I have a 360 and I LOVE it, more than my ps3. Although it is a 360 slim, I know the first 360s had a lot of trouble and I don't know if the 1s will have the same issue...?

Yeah. Original 360s processor would over heat a lot after a year or so of use. They fixed that when they did the Elite models... elite? Sounds wrong and right at the same time... anyway, I doubt the Xbox One will have the same issue ever. About 30% of the Xbox One is cooling fan, lol. Might be exaggerated but I have seen the insides and the fan is -blam!-ing huge.

I liked the x1, although I liked the ui of 360 more...Maybe just because I was more used to it. I am just pissed about this. I usually only buy consoles when there are enough games I wanna play, I only bought this x1 so soon bc I got the white one. Hopefully they fix it free and I can continue being a satisfied Xbox owner

So a random defective unit represents the entire system. My buddy got a ps4 and it didn't work when he tried to set it up. Again it was a random defect no reason to judge Sony as a whole.
