Destiny Keeps Disconnecting me from the game *UPDATE!*
I am not sure if this is only me but Destiny for me has constantly been disconnecting from the servers giving me numerous "Disconnected" notices and it is really starting to drain my patients. I have made sure my Internet Connection is working fine so I assume this is just a first day thing? Is this happening to anyone else?
UPDATE!
I am well aware that a lot of people are having problems on any system, I was trying everything I could such as manually inputting my router information for better connection and other things but essentially nothing worked. I gave up at around 5am in the morning and went to bed and 3 hours later once I woke up I turned it on and it worked perfectly and I am now still playing the game.
I honestly do not know how this was resolved as it just seemed to of happen, could it have been Bungie doing something to the servers? Is it just certain internet connections being a bitch? I don't know and sadly I can't help those who are now in the same situation I was in, I am sorry but the only thing I can suggest is be patient and check your connection settings to make sure you have the best connection settings available.
I followed this link and it gave me a lot of info and despite it did not help me as much I believe it could still help one of you. So good luck to everyone and believe me your patients will be rewarded, hope you get to play soon!

not just you this sucks keeps happening to me while running haunted Forrest and its 15 minutes long trying to grind out for tormented souls has never been a realer deal as its tormenting mine trying to complete a 15 minute run without getting disconnected

I'm having the same problem since the latest update today 9 times I've been kicked out of my games now 9 strikes I was unable to finish either halfway or at the boss room. It's not my internet I'm at a point of giving up 2. I hate to say this but looks like we'll have to have the servers down again for another day because a lot of people are having this problem anyone know if they have dedicated servers I heard they weren't when they were making the game. Out of all the games I own only this game has constant server problems connection issues dropping from games as often. Needs a fix

I am glad this forums not trying to delete and hide this stuff as I paid ninety pounds for a game I cant play..all the dc's are making me very twitchy..the game itself is great (except for no chat box or matchmaking).. It adds insult to injury to tell us the problem is at our end..my router is fine with all other games its a solid connection the I.T. guy told me after three router reset sessions

3 RepliesI also keeps having disconnection issues on destiny. Sometimes i can play for hours no problems, then other days,(like today trying to play raids) it kept kicking me from my fireteam.

1 ReplyI never had a problem when i was on the 360 and never had a problem on the One befor i got the rise of iron ever since then every 5 - 10 min it kicks me off and and it is stating to piss me off, and just like a few min ago i lost connection immediately after getting on it needs to stop so Bungie or Activision i don't car who it needs to be fixed asap.

My game literally crashed four minutes after I got onto it after it crashed which was another 20 minutes before the first time it crashed. 3 times in less than an half hour.

Every time I try to do the sky burners sequence, it always disconnects. It either lags to the point where the timer for the sequence runs out,or I leave patrol. I have wasted 4 keys because of the same issue. I don't get them back if I disconnect. I have spent HOURS trying to get one. I check to make sure I am green baring before I start. Then when I am at the end, it lags out. It NEVER lets me finish.

I have been experiencing problems with Destiny servers since Friday night. I would start a Trials match and lose connection and have a loss on my card. There needs to be a fix and some kind of reward for this. All this does it discourage me from putting this game in my console and continue to play when there are other games that do not give me this kind of problem

1 ReplyMan oath, I was doing crota hard and got disconnected from it with full bars! I as at the end too, friends couldn't move at all, couldn't speak, got kicked outa destiny after that, starting to dislike this game due to these problems, I'll still play the hell outa it though

My issues is very similer, all that the game will do is update.I have gotten 2 different copys a used one and a brand new one. I have done every thing on the trouble shoot list 3 times before I contacted xbox support, they help me go through the same trouble shoot list. I also have up graded from a 150GB hard drive to a 250GB hard drive. I have tried both wired and wireless all that happens is I sit and watch it up date this has taken up to 6 hours and I have still not been able to play the game. I have spent over $80.00 on this and would like to be able to play the game. At this point I am highly tick off,I have spent a boat load of money and got nothing out of it. To top it off the game is only worth $2.00 on trade in at game stop. Need away to fix the problem or some other means to compensate me for time and money.

I'm getting beyond pissed off at Bungie for not fixing the connection issues! My Internet works great with all of my other online games except Destiny! I get kicked from fireteams constantly and it says I left them, but I don't. I can't play any form of crucible without getting kicked two minutes in!!! I get sent back to the beginning screen at least 5 times a day. This is all for the birds! I love this game, but if it isn't fixed, I'm ditching it and not recommending it to anyone else!

Please fix kicking off all time. It's been there since day on in root directory, you can't divide by zero, you get a null every time. The PC excuse has run its course. YJSNK you

Personally i want these money making scam artists sorry but cant think what else tocall them to be held to account legally for selling a product thats obviously not ready to be on the market. Would a car sales shop get away with sellin cars with 3 wheels when needs 4? No so why is mr bungie and cohorts gettin away with this? Its been goin on for a year and still happening,ivenever had this with any other games and am no gonna buy anymore from this bunch and urge others to do the same. Roll on no mans sky which looks to blow this destiny rubbish away once and for all, same thing happened with wolfenstein new order on ps3 and folks stopped buyin it hence wolfenstein old blood bein 14 pounds now. We may just be the little guy but we are the little guys doin the spending so stuff em. Ive been kicked out of this game 40 times in a space of two or so hours and hoped it would be sorted ?Well they obviously dont give a dam or it would have been by now,lets face it they could do if wanted to. No more hard earned cash from me bungling bungie plums.

I keep getting kicked at the moment, had some code that said I would experience problems if i was using mobile network or something, which I don't as I have fibre optic Internet. All other games are fine expect destiny. Getting really irrating now. Please sort it!

3 RepliesPS3 here, I run HULU for hours, watching show after show, I play minecraft, black ops 2 and never get booted. I play this game and sometimes I don't even get to the screen where it says to pick your character before I get disconnected, sometimes all the way out of PSN. I wish they'd get this resolved. I have made it to lvl 25 and might be further up if I could stay online longer. I will not recommend this game to anyone, at least no until Bungie gets this resolved. p.s. the problem seems to be getting worse every time I try to play. My 12 year old got so disappointed he shut it off and started playing a different game.

Listen to your f*ckjng fans, and Fix Your Damn Problems! You already lost a few, and mostly more are to come including myself. I'm returning your broken a$$ game when I wake up tomorrow.

1 Replyyes i have been playing destiny for a year now, and i have started getting disconnected and it keeps popping up with CATTLE/CATERPILLAR, CENTIPEDE, BEE/FLY/LION and BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD an im starting to get fed up with it, its been happening for three months now i have reloaded the game and it still kicks me, if you could bungie fix it before taken king comes out.
