I'm a girl and I play as guys all the time (in other games) but that's more because I just don't want to be treated any differently . Maybe guys play as girl characters because they know they will be treated differently as well?

I mean I'm not sure who would willingly want to be told to go into the kitchen and make them a sandwich but there is some good that comes with being a "girl" too; people tend to want to help u out a little more.
