In an MMO I usually go with female characters, because it's just my own personal preference, but I prefer the way women look to men. As for Destiny I was torn, because the majority of the time I don't see my character, and whenever I join a Fireteam it'll be my deep masculine voice people hear. On the flip side though, I do get to see my character in the menus, during Supers, and most importantly; while dancing. I went with a male character in the end, but I'm thinking about making a female one. I guess some people see their characters as representations of themselves, and others simply see them as characters they're controlling. I'm the latter... or perhaps I'm just a pervert. Either could be true.
