Alright then, how DO we use the X/10 system

We all know that the current idea that anything below 7 is "shit", and that now it's getting to the point where anything below 8 is "shit", what are we meant to do? Clearly we can't use it in a reasonable way where say, a 2 means a broken mess of a game ala related topic, but we also can't keep the current system - so what do we do? Unless of course, we simply ignore the blatantly biased and broken "reviews" and "journalists". but maybe that's just hoping for too much.

    • Eh, if the story is a big part of the game I'd argue that it kind of does >_> *shrug* Not having played Bioshock Infinite I have absolutely no stake whatsoever in the argument over whether it's a bad/broken, or otherwise, game. But I would definitely say that if the story is supposed to be a fairly large part of the game and the story just doesn't work then it can sort of be argued that it's broken.

      • its has a good story, some people thought the story was cheap and uninspired and that the ending was an example of the devs saying "-blam!- it, lets just slap this in there to cover the plot holes". Those people can have their extremely minor opinion, they probably enjoy being one of three people in the world that dont like bioshock infinite. My only gripe with it was that you could only carry a primary and secondary weapon, whereas in previous bioshocks you always had your complete arsenal available to you at all times once you unlocked the gun.
