Dead Space didn't scare me.
I bought Dead Space 1 and 2 during the summer sale, and just finished the first one. I had heard alot about these games, and that they were freaky the whole way through. While I don't deny a profound sense of vulnerability, or the fact that it was a great game, I couldn't help but feel less frightened than I should be. Thoughts?

11 RepliesIts survival horror but giving you power. While in games like Amnesia you don't really have power. Dead Space is great but you're not gonna feel frightened when you know you can easily kill. Be on edge? Oh yea that can happen. Genuine fear? Not so much.
