Linking Twitch account seemed to create a new Bungie.net account and lost all Bungie store digital purchases

Yesterday (23 August) I was trying to link my Twitch account to my Bungie account and was getting an "invalid CSRF token" error. Google results suggested logging out of both websites, clearing the cookies for both sites, then logging back in and trying to link them again. I did that and nothing worked. Further Googling suggested using Incognito mode so I did that. And when I did it, it seems that Bungie.net created a brand new account for me and linked it to the game. This resulted in me keeping all the content I've bought from STEAM, but losing everything that I've purchased from the Bungie store (several emblems). I tried using the old redemption codes that I used the first time, but I get an error message saying that the code has been redeemed on a different account already. Is there any way to recover these? I paid money for them and I really loved the Infinite Prismatic emblem.

  • Please log out of Bungie.net, then log in using your Steam ID. That should log you into your profile that's connected to Steam. Once there, please go to the Settings and then Accounts and Linking and link your Twitch ID there. It created a new profile because you just logged in using your Twitch ID, which wasn't connected to a profile yet. As long as you didn't then link your Steam ID to this profile, it should still be connected to your other profile that has your redeemed codes on it.
