It has to fight against itself in close ranges, because it's like trying to use a scout rifle in a small room. Getting in close is only part of the equation though, you also need to have the ability to take advantage of that weakness when you get in close.

You think people who use the lance are scrubs, and that's fair, you're entitled to your opinion, but the only people I consider scrubs are people who can place blame with anyone but themselves when they lose.[/quote] Well, the difference is the reason why I lose 90% of my matches is because lack of map control/gun play from random teammates, and sometimes I even suck ass. I know when I've done terrible during a match, and I won't blame enemies because of my lack of aim. I actually can't blame them at all. It's just a frustrating sight when 80% of the lobby uses GL.
