15% of the Overall Crucible Weapon Usage??
Graviton Lance is a crutch and is for people who aren't good with any other weapon.
Change my mind.
EDIT: Hate comments or not, thanks for making this thread popping. I'm glad I can post a trigger post to draw all the GL fanboys.

Crutch generally isn't a good indicator of something being overpowered... I have crutches, you have crutches, we all crutch on something in one game or another. Most crutch weapons and perks that I've seen haven't been in a position where they've needed to be nerfed. Few instances would ever call for that (biggest one being Synaptic in IW, at least if you asked me). You have summoned me.

1 ReplyActually since 6v6 I am getting killed by lots of different weapons. It almost seems as if there was a ninja nerf to GL and VW. I outgunned a GL at mid to short range with a sidearm earlier quite easily. I tried using VW and got outgunned multiple times and that is rare. Anyone else notice changes?

It’s the benchmark , the rest of the weapons need buffs that’s all. People crying about a gun that has a TTK comparable to D1 metas lol. The slow TTK in D2 has already destroyed most of the PvP community.

600 kills for that one ornament Plus an OP pulse rifle equals lots of use of said pulse. And saying everyone who uses it uses it as a crutch sounds a little salty to me. Gotta play the game as it is dude. That's the challenge.

Since 6v6 I’ve been running around and punching people with my feedback fence. It’s stupid, crappy players who can’t kill or enjoy the game plays without GL.

They made D2 slow lame shit to balance it. Now they throw all caution to the wind and just throw everybody a bone. Bungie dosen't care for this game. They only want to deliver on the contract and then will close this whole desaster down for good.

1 Replyin D2 pvp I always use either Suros or Martyre Make, I never use Gravitation Lance, I used it once and it was way too easy for me, I am an old schooler from back in Unreal Tournament and Quake days on PC back when skills were needed in multiplayer games so I don't use a crutch to get free/easy kills :) I also use many other weapons I always try new ones when I get them to see which 1 suits my playstyle.

Just because it’s used so much doesn’t mean it’s a crutch. I’d love to use any weapon I like in Crucible, but the fact is that some weapons just don’t even come close to others for certain activities, so why would people use anything else if they just want to do as well as they can?
