I killed my Prometheus on Monday night.
I knew what was going to happen to her.
I knew the Nerf Police were going to find her and turn her into a sad patheic shadow of herself.
Instead of launching a torrent of bright orange Guardian-shredding DEATH, she would be launching orange silly string.
I couldn't do that to her. So, we gad one last Crucible match together. And then... I crunched her to bits. Her orange beam will light up the Crucible no more.
But she died having known only greatness.

3 RepliesEdited by Endless: 12/16/2017 9:54:36 AMso many mediocre 1.0-1.5 players are so sad that their gun is gone. all the good kids are happy. it took zero skill to use. the only skill involved was knowing when to back off around a corner early on console so that you wouldn't trade. easiest gun to use ever. destroyed the skill gap that this game had left. glad its nerfed. silly forums.

6 RepliesThe gun isn't even that good. TLW had a faster TTK and that went on for about a year. It's only because everything is so slow and weak that you notice a mediocre weapon to be great.

2 RepliesFunny story but the gun was stupidly broken in PvP. Those 4 days it was available from Xur did some serious damage to D2 chance to attract more casual players into PvP. It was broken when only few had it and it become rapidly silly when everyone had it. Try-hard teams from a clan x 4, all with Prometheus Lense, oh the joy...
