Why can't we choose what we want from Iron Banner Engrams with the tokens?
I know it's going to happen for Season 2, but why couldn't these changes be put in for Season 1 aswell, especially considering PC players will only get 1 chance at the Season 1 Iron Banner gear. It's infuriating opening 20+ packages for some shitty leggings which just don't ever drop. And it's not rewarding when you finally do get them because you then move onto your other characters and see which piece will also never drop.

1 ReplyGetting the IB armor is one of the few things left that is fun. The last round I got almost full sets on 2 characters. This time grinding to get a set for 3rd character and keep getting duplicates of the weapons and generic armor. I did get 4 hunter cloaks in one day but chest/helmet won't drop. The Loot system in this game is back to being stupid.

1 ReplyYou have a long way to go. It took me 80 packages to get a full set of titan armor. I'm not sure wht asshat at bungie thought this was a good idea but they need to be sat in front of a pc or tv and be forces to play iron banner solo for 5 days straight. Let them feel the grind and how bad it sucks

1 ReplyYeah I made the mistake of opening 6 packages in a row. Got 3 Titan arms in a row and why do non iron banner items drop from iron banner engrams. Absolutely beyond dumb. Let's give players rewards that they can get anytime during limited time events instead of the event gear.

1 ReplyI agree I've gotten eveet weapon at least 3 times and can't fir the life of me . Get the Hunter chest and helmet. After a few packages this iron banner. I've given up. All I need is the hunter helmet and chest and keep getting the same weapons. Such a waste of time.

I want the iron banner armor but I just started today I’ve opened 8 packages on my hunter and gotten 5 gauntlets and 3 weapons. I understand getting a duplicate once I. A while but this almost feel like it’s been purposely done to keep you on the game longer and it’s having the opposite effect. I don’t care how cool the gear is I’m not grinding 30 packages to not even have a full set when u get 2 tokens for a loss and 5 for a win even with all wins I would be playing for so long and there’s no reason to when all I’m getting is duplicates. Someone in this post tried to insult the community and say that not everyone would be happy no matter what that is true but iron banner was perfect before they had 2 weapons per month and two armor pieces you could rank to 5 and then buy that gear and then gear would drop for u in iron banner randomly so even if the rng wasn’t in your favor like in my case at the very least u could get the two weapons and two pieces of gear and by the time iron banner was done for the season if you got on each month you would have the full set. Also each day you would gain more experience so even people who couldn’t play a lot could play on a weekend and get to rank 5 and buy their gear this system is bullshit. I’m a huge destiny fan and I’m starting to hate this game the duplicate shot has to stop its -blam!-ing ridiculous that I have gauntlets from iron banner equipped on my character and that’s been more than half of my drops wouldn’t surprise me if they did that on purpose cause they knew they were putting out and unfinished game because of a deadline. Bungie I beg you to PLEASE FIX THIS DUPLICATE SHIT it happens for everything I’ve gotten all duplicates the last 20 exotic engrams I’ve opened and you guys already fixed this in d1 you already had put a work around into the game where you were less likely to get duplicates which is what leads me to believe they took it out on purpose cause they had a deadline and knew the end game was garbage...

Yet, I've gotten the boots I already have twice and a ton of repeat weapons. It's garbage and honestly feels more like its weighted to give you stuff you already have.

6 RepliesThere has only been 2 Iron Banners, in D1 you couldn't expect to collect all the gear in that time. I highly doubt in season 2 that you won't be able to get season 1's gear, it's more likely that all they introduce are ornaments.

1 ReplySo here’s the yoke🍳 they brought back iron banner in season 1 because they wanted pc players to have a chance and they said they were going to change the system to where you could buy items because everyone was pissed that they crept getting repeats. And when it came out this week they lied again and only changed the game mode. I have opened 33 packages. That’s 660 tokens and I have gotten everything 2-3 and some things like the grenade launcher it feels like I have gotten that 32 times out of the 33. I have everything there is to get except the cloak. 12 packages should be enough to get what you want not over 50.

I understand duplicates will be prevent due to the small loot pool but there should be NO FVCKING reason I should get the same drop twice in a row the double dropped again (glove, glove, sidearm, sidearm). Fvck you bungo rng. Played all day for 150 tokens and got nothing I needed. Still have arms and chest and that's all. weak.
