Aahhhh so thats why the first time on one char we cleared the dark room and got a shit load of time from them, but on my 2nd char with a different group one player hung back saying he could get us a heap of time and we only shot 2 in the dark room and we got the message that we had max time.

OP clearly stats he was doing the cheese which imo is more of a glitch, where you litterally keep spawning the same oracle over and over until it said they killed too many. That's not intended. OP literally stated he was doing the anomaly farm to give himself more time than he would normally be able to obtain(aka, cheesing). The game negated the cheese, and OP got mad and rage-posted. Regardless of cheese or not timed nightfalls are shît especially the current one. The boss has too much health as well as a ton of ad's add to that a timer and no burn. Nightfalls should be hard but they shouldn't be mindless speed runs.

Do you not remember the bosses from D1? Tanks with turbo non stop attacks and ridiculously large numbers of mobs. These nf are far easier imo

It's the timer that kills any enjoyment. I'd take endless waves of ads and tanks if I had as long as I want to do it.

He tried to exploit a game feature to cheese the nightfall by getting more time and Bungie was smart enough to anticipate cheeses like these and out a cap on the time you can add.
