Exactly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion. The problem is anytime somebody has an opinion, they get attacked for it. These forums are more divisive than politics. It's ridiculous. If you like the game, you're a fanboy. If you hate the game, you're a hater. Problem is most people that have issues with the game, are a bit excessive about it. I've seen people say it's the worst game they've ever played. That's a bit crazy to me. Personally I enjoy the game, like I said they took some big steps, but nobody really gives them credit for it. They single out the bad stuff and forget about all the good stuff they added. It's nice being able to pull up the director for example, and go wherever you want without jumping to orbit. Just some quality of life changes. Dislikes, I think they oversimplified a lot of things that didn't need it. I think they nerfed the grind a bit much, to the point that there's really no need to do a lot of the adventures or seek out region chests unless you're completing challenges. It's way too easy to reach 300 light. I understand that some people don't enjoy raiding or doing Trials, but what's the point of getting to such a high light level if you're not going to participate in the activities that require it? There are no raid specific perks on raid gear anymore which kind of sucks. No grim, dead ghosts, etc. But I try to look on the bright side, and I remember how D1 was when it released. They improved the game drastically through the expansions, which I agree with people that this stuff should have been shipped on release, as long as it gets added I'll be happy. All in all I love the game and will continue to play it. I can overlook it's flaws, which honestly to me are small and not gamebreaking. If you don't enjoy the game, don't play it. It's frustrating I'm sure to love a franchise and be disappointed in the sequel. But for me, I'll continue to play the game for the foreseeable future. Luckily for me, my PS4 shipped with the ability to play games other than Destiny for when I get bored!

He/she didn't say there was anything wrong with disagreeing. It's the "lynching" for having the opinion is what's wrong with the community. You can disagree with someone's opinion without crucifying them for having it.

I do agree we all need to be tolerable of other peoples opinions. If someone's doesn't agree with me that the sky is blue, you know what its ok thats his opinion. Also certain elements of this community is toxic.
