I agree with some points like Destiny saying the are going to unlock the fun but we can't choose strikes or PvP playlists yet, so I get it and for me I was in a clan in year one but became a lone wolf after HoW and still completed multiple raids from lfg and even became a Sherpa for some raids. But can I ask you this as one vet to another, deep down inside when each piece of information was released about D2 did you go "YES!!! They changed exactly what I wanted and I'm pumped AF" or did you go "hmmmm not sure about that but I'll wait n see" because as soon as I saw D2 was a shooter and along with all the other changes I new its was a halo reskin of destiny. This is why I have no attachment to this new game and will probably go back and play D1 or new games as they come out, I miss my rolled weapons I spent so long getting, I miss feeling powerful. Last check on time wasted in destiny (1) I was around 3500 hours. As soon as the content is dead (which even for a casual like me now is fast approaching) I'll be looking at anthem and other games. Also I used to love sitting down on a Saturday and watch streamers smack kids on their way to the lighthouse with 3v1 clutches but now I find watching any streamer no matter how funny and entertaining they personally are, boring because of the game. But I can tell you not buying more than the base game was a GREAT decision and it will take a lot to get me back on Bungies side

  • Yeah dude, I feel that Destiny is meant to be a game partly of grinding and play time. I put hours into D1, got max grimoire, got the god roll ash factory and eyasluna and hawksaw, tier 12 on all my characters, and now...there's no grimoire, there's no rolls, there's no tiers that really matter as much. Your subclass is fricking basically set for you. You can't spec for armor or agility or recovery through it anymore. I mean I get what bungie is trying to do, making it more accessible for people who play less, but it just feels like the more you play a game the better the stuff you should have. Like OG status isn't going to be as much of a thing anymore. And in addition to that there's no way most noobs are going to finish the raid or prestige nightfall that easily. I doubt most people are going to use GG. In fact, one of my friends went into guided games FOR HELP and ended up literally having to CARRY two people through the nightfall.
