I'm a loyal fan and I love Destiny from the bottom of my heart. But Bungie..

Your raid is garbage. I can't believe I'm saying that either. In D1, no matter how hard it was at first, I never [i]disliked[/i] an activity. I just realized I had to be better, and get a better team. I loved all the raids. I didn't have a favorite. Skolas included. But Leviathan? Dude. You sit there and you work your ass off trying to beat the encounters only for you to be rewarded with tokens and glimmer. ... [b][i][u]TOKENS. ARE. NOT. RAID. LOOT.[/u][/i][/b] I don't care what bougie ass vendor you put in the tower, if I do the -blam!-ing raid, I want the encounters to [b][i][u]DROP -blam!-ING RAID LOOT. AT A HIGHER LIGHT LEVEL. THAT'S WHAT I DO THE RAID FOR.[/u][/i][/b] I don't do it to get tokens, go to a vendor, and get raid loot below my light level. Come on, guys. Really? And why remove checkpoints? Yes, there are "checkpoints" but not really. You still have to start at the beginning and do the standards encounter to get to where you were. And yeah you could use the underbelly part of the ship as a shortcut but it's still requiring an unneeded part of effort. There was nothing wrong with the way checkpoints worked in D1. And as for the final boss.. Oh my lord. This fat -blam!-er has been the bane of my existence for the past 12 hours. And it's not even me or my team. It's filled with glitches that force a wipe. At first, when I read about it, I thought it was a bunch of unlucky folk but this [b][i][u]is a serious problem.[/u][/i][/b] Let me just name a few. Not seeing an emblem on Fatty's forehead Getting launched [b][u]sideways[/u][/b] in the shadow realm Flying over the barrier for [b][i]no reason.[/i][/b] Psion Bubbles still on the DPS plates Getting teleported into the shadow realm. Then dying for no reason. I could go on. Listen. I know you guys know how to do better. These are the main problems that I think need to be fixed. *Make rewards more frequent and worthwhile. Remove the token system from raids. *Bring back [i]real[/i] checkpoints. I get that you guys probably made Leviathan the way it was so groups could explore it every time they loaded in, but let's be honest; groups will stop giving two shits about the underbelly by the time the 1st DLC hits. I liked progressing through a raid and thoroughly exploring each section I got to. King's fall and Wrath and VoG do this really well. *More bosses. Make encounters difficult, but not tedious. I do not have very much fun getting Calus to his DPS phase. But Aksis and Atheon? Great examples of fun mechanics. *Polish it before you release it. There's no excuse to why there's so many bugs. And that's about it. I really hope you bring the fun factor back in, and add a real loot system. WoTM is a great example of how raid loot should work. Please.     I loved Destiny 1 raids a whole whole lot, but... [b]This raid is absolute trash in comparison to Destiny 1 raids (exception Crota's End). [/b] It is overly complex for no reason whatsoever [b](mainly due to bugs and RNG)[/b], just so the designers (I'm assuming) can feel high and mighty when earning their paychecks (hey guys, look how hard I made this, give me money because I'm smart). The Raid story also holds no story value like the originals. [b]Seriously, it was all for nothing, he was a stupid -blam!-ing robot. [/b] At least we got to kill (supposedly) the Taken King! [b]The Raid is, plain and simply put, not fun in the slightest [/b](except for underbelly exploration the first time and maybe the gauntlet), and the rewards are shit. Vault of Glass, King's Fall, Wrath and even the Crota Strike were better than this nonsense (specifically VoG, which is my fave forever). The Raid needs severe changes immediately as it stands. [b]They need to bring in better raid designers the next go around. [/b] [i]I want to add, with the way PvP is now and with how crappy progression and investment design are, I don't see this game lasting very long like vanilla D1 did without some major changes on both the game and the development end. At least vanilla D1 was actually fun in a lot of different activities, and had some semblance of progression (like Grimoire).[/i] [b]Final Note, not having Customs, Rumble and only two PvP playlists is inexcusable.[/b]
